For those of u who want to do authentication with AP. Now they have 2 packages:
1. Verbal - 400 dollars
2. Written and they give some like book - 750 dollars
Authentication will takes 4-5 working days.
Is it worth? I think for verbal you can just go to any watch shop who have a good technician (e.g like watch concept). They do it about 80-100 dollars.
I think now AP services Center is very smart.. They might have many watches that just sent in for service but in e end they don't service the watch. But from end user point of view, I also feel they hv some policy that doesn't suit us to the very best also. And as many u know their movement might not be the best and servicing takes a while also

Still regarding AP Authentication
Do u guys know that AP have 2 years warranty?
The warranty is 2 years and if u register u can get extra 1 year. So total 3 (2+1)
If u buy from local Singapore boutique (I repeat... Boutique not authorized dealer...) u can get 5 years warranty but it's not written anywhere...
However the 5 year warranty the service Center value it based on the stamp.
But becareful. If u buy a new or used AP that's still under warranty.. U have to make sure that the watch has never been open smile emoticon
If the watch has been open by a third party, then the warranty will be void.
So. How to do buy n sell for AP that's still under warranty?
1. Make sure u buy from reputable dealer like my self, Xiao Dong, aston, kc Chen, Terrence, and many more smile emoticon we have reputation and we will tell u all the history of the watch (if we know the history)
2. Check the screws see if the screws has been tempered
3. Go to AP and pay for authentication if Ur supporting them in paying 400/750
4. Go to Watch Concept for authentication. But... Tell them the watch still under warranty. If under warranty they will inspect externally based on their rich experience.
5. Don't go to other ppl and who just wan to open the movement... AP somehow will knows it that the watch been open frown emoticon
Anyway.. Just sharing some of my experience
For some ppl who don't know me... Although I don't hv a shop. It doesn't mean my watch is not real... Cheers...
